Well, maybe just a half a drink more.

Welcome back from the holiday weekend! I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and enjoyed their family and friends! We had two Christmases on Christmas Eve, one on Christmas Day, another yesterday, and just the three of us on Christmas Morning That was probably my favorite part. Lyla had much more fun this year. She was able to open her gifts by herself, and actually enjoyed the toys and clothes she received.

If you are the gift type, I hope you got some good stuff. What was your favorite gift? One of my top gifts was my new coffee mug. I get a discount every time I use it at my favorite coffee shop. Talk about a gift that keeps on giving. I also received some new accessories that I'll be pairing up soon. Also, I was given some cash that I'm toying around with what I want to purchase. Nate and I also have dinner and a movie paid for in gift cards.  I see a date night in the near future! Any movie suggestions?

Two Faced

Fifty degrees one day, and the very next day it is colder than crazy. This outfit is obviously from the fifty degree day. Bare legs in December people. Can you believe that?!?! Anybody else stumped by this weather? 

Because, of this wacky weather you get two looks today. The first look, is what I wore to work. The Second, is what I wore to a Christmas party. I honestly wasn't sure if I would be attending the party, or if the childcare I had arranged would fall through. I needed to be prepared to watch kiddos if it would turn to that, so I thought jeans would be the best option.Thankfully, the workers made it and Nate and I had a wonderful meal and a fun evening.

 This is me being super excited that I think I found a solution to my poorly lit room. I still need to get a new sheet, as this one has been a paint drop cloth.

I also gave what the blogger of Inside Jewelscapes Handmade Jewelry dubbed, "the Small Town Capri" a shot. I think it turned out alright. It looked better when I first put it on, but by 11 when I took the pictures I had just taken a turn for the worst overall.

30 for 30: Outfit #28

I told you that I had yet another plan for remixing this dress during this challenge. Three different outfits created with this dress, and only one of them was styled as a dress. That isn't bad at all. What item are you most proud of how you have remixed it? It was pretty easy to remix this as a top, because, the skirt is actually a maternity skirt. It has an elastic waist panel that blended in quite nicely. Belting it hid the seam where the elastic panel and the skirt met.

30 for 30: Outfit #5

I wore tights the last two days, and it was a bit warm out for them. Today, I decided I would go ahead and forgo the tights. Stupid decision...it was a cold, damp, gray day. It should have been the recipient of colorful tights, instead of, the days when temps reached 70 or higher. Did I mention I forgot a coat when walking out the door at 6:20am? Well I did, and didn't regret it until after I got off work.
